Do you wish you could win back your ex lover but don't know what to do? It's very common for someone in this position to be completely in the dark... no one ever taught you about fixing breakups so you end up rushing in blindly. The good news is that you can reverse the situation and win your ex back... but you're going to have to learn the right way to do this or else risk pushing them away forever.
Fixing breakups isn't rocket science, but if you don't know what you're doing you can end up trying one desperate approach after another without any success. The key to fixing breakups is understanding basic human nature and use this knowledge to your advantage.
People tend to want what they can't have.... this is an old expression that has a lot of truth to it. The harder to push to win back your lover, the more they will withdraw. When you make yourself too available, there is a tendency for them to take you for granted and lose interest.
Feelings of fear and even panic can drive you to do things that you normally wouldn't. The fear of not being able to get your ex back is causing you to do things out of desperation.
Calling all the time, texting/emailing, sending love letters, apologizing for everything, promising you'll change, showing up where they are... these behaviors will only make them withdraw, sometimes to the point where they start avoiding you. Are you starting to see why this is a terrible approach that only makes things worse?
But the opposite is also true. Taking a break demonstrates that you're no longer throwing yourself at them. This allows your ex some time to miss you. How can they miss you if you won't leave them alone? When they see that your are no longer frantically pushing to get back together, they will usually start to feel attracted to you again.
Fixing a break up will usually require more effort than just giving your ex some space. But it's a critical step that should not be overlooked. If you can do this, then everything you do from that point forward to win back your lover will be much easier.
